Community Housing Management (CHM) is a tax exempt organization that manages non-profit low and moderate-income family housing complexes. The majority of the management portfolio consists of properties funded primarily with mortgage financing from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); the Internal Revenue Service Low Income Housing Tax Credit program (LIHTC), State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), and the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA).
CHM, in contract for services from EHM, provides a range of services; including property management with on-site staff and housing site staff supervision, on-site coordination of social and support services, pre-occupancy services, marketing, financial services, maintenance services, and training.
