Elderly Housing Management


Elderly Housing Management, Inc., (EHM) is a tax exempt organization that manages non-profit low and moderate-income elderly housing complexes.  The majority of the management portfolio consists of properties funded primarily with mortgage financing from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); the US Department of Agriculture, Rural Development (USDA-RD); the Internal Revenue Service Low Income Housing Tax Credit program (LIHTC), State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), and the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA).

Elderly Housing Management provides management services including financial management and bookkeeping services, physical property management and maintenance through on-site staff, in-house services and contracted services and regulatory compliance through on site staff that are continually trained in all aspects of regulatory compliance specific to the property, agency law and Fair Housing laws. Additionally, EHM emphasizes maintaining the quality of resident lives through resident service coordination services which enable residents to age in place safely and successfully.

Community Housing Management


Community Housing Management (CHM) is a tax exempt organization that manages non-profit low and moderate-income family housing complexes.  The majority of the management portfolio consists of properties funded primarily with mortgage financing from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); the Internal Revenue Service Low Income Housing Tax Credit program (LIHTC), State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), and the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA).

CHM, in contract for services from EHM, provides a range of services; including property management with on-site staff and housing site staff supervision, on-site coordination of social and support services, pre-occupancy services, marketing, financial services, maintenance services, and training.
